It was a picture-perfect November day in Savannah, Georgia, when Maddie and Fern said “I do” on the ballroom terrace of the Perry Lane Hotel. As one of their wedding photographers, I was honored to capture this special moment in their lives.
Maddie and Fern’s love story is one of laughter, adventure, and true devotion. From the moment they met, they knew that they were meant to be together. Their bond is unbreakable, and it was truly a privilege to be a part of their special day.
The day started with Fern and his groomsmen getting ready at their beautiful home in The Landings. The guys were all smiles and laughter as they helped Fern prepare for the big day ahead. After they were ready, they hopped into a luxurious limousine bus and headed into Savannah.
Before the ceremony, Fern and Maddie had a private first look in nearby Chippewa Square, the tears flowing from both of them. This intimate moment was a perfect start to their special day, and I was grateful to be there to capture it. We then took some portraits of the soon-to-be newlyweds, and were then joined by the rest of the wedding party. The lush greenery, elegant architecture, and charming cobblestone streets provided the perfect backdrop for their portraits.
The short ceremony on the Perry Lane Hotel’s ballroom terrace was set up, with the sun shining bright and not a cloud in the sky. It was filled with love and joy. Maddie and Fern exchanged vows and rings, surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was a beautiful moment, and their love was palpable for everyone to see.
The reception was held in the hotel’s elegant ballroom, and it was a night to remember. The room was decorated with candlelight, flowers, and elegant details that created a warm and intimate atmosphere.
